He creates this powerful music out of different voltages running through filters. He makes the organic meal, he raises and slaughters the cow, grows and harvests the wheat and then, using his own recipe, cooks it into an amazing dinner. The DJ is the guest at the table, who says "Oh yea this is BOMB! I'll make this meal for my friends sometime." The DJ has done none of the work to create the music. It's hard to be a good DJ, but I would say deadmau5 has more talent at producing than someone like Girl Talk. deadmau5 creates something out of nothing. No one would hear this music if it weren't for the DJ's, and DJ's would have nothing to play if it weren't for the producers. Some producers and DJs do both, but either way, there's plenty of love to go around. I get why people like Deadmau5, and anyone doing anything good for this music - much respect. But seriously, what a tool saying he wishes DJs would disappear. Fuck that. DJs will be around longer than he will. The DJ/Producer conflict has always been there.
